Steve was selected for his position as the operations manager at Goudarzi Protective Service, Inc. as a result of his proven leadership ability while in the Marine Corps. Steve received numerous letters of appreciation, certificates of commendation in recognition for his leadership and training abilities and was awarded an outstanding performance medal.
While deployed with the 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment Steve was responsible for establishing and supervising the port security in the harbors at Dubai and Bahrain. While in Djibouti, during a Combined Arms Exercise, he was responsible for the local security during the exercise.
As the Battalion Liaison Chief for 2nd Battalion 11th Marine Regiment Steve was responsible for the training and supervision of 50 Marines in the Battalion. He established and supervised training the operations for the Battalion. He assisted in the writing of the combat standard operating procedures for the Target Location Designation Handoff System.
Steve was a certified as a firearms instructor for both rifle and pistol for his battalion. He was responsible for the training of hundreds of Marines in close combat exercises. He attained a brown belt ranking in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.
Steve has a secret security clearance and was selected for staff sergeant prior to his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps.
Prior to his second enlistment in the Marine Corps Steve worked in private security for two years. He worked numerous assignments at corporate facilities, banks and special events.
